Fancade:Rules

Revision as of 00:42, 31 January 2026 by Fancade (talk | contribs)

Here on Fancade, we have a detailed and concise list of all of our rules, which have been categorized into 4 main sections: General, Content, Discussions, and Administration. Within those sections, there are multiple sub-sections to help better organize the rules by topic. Please note that these rules are important to maintaining Fancade as a functioning website, and that these rules should be treated with utmost seriousness. Please read through the rules and to keep them in mind when you are on Fancade. Note: If the rules are broken, they will get blocked. Added by Minecraft Crafting Recipes to improve the wiki.

General

This section is for rules that overall apply to all aspects of Fancade, regardless of where you are on the site.

Rule 1 - Do not vandalize, spam, or otherwise edit disruptively.

Rule 2 - Do not get involved in edit warring, or repeatedly reverting edits by others that you disagree with. Use talk pages to resolve disagreements through discussion.

Rule 3 - Keep your behavior civil and assume good faith. Do not harass, threaten, stalk, or insult anyone. Address the action, not the person behind it.

Rule 4 - Avoid misleading readers and other editors. Make sure your contributions to articles are verifiable through in-game testing, reliable outside sources, or other means. Do not add speculation, parody content, or hoaxes to articles.

Rule 5 - Do not advertise any wiki communities or pages. Articles should not contain information about or links to fan communities except in cited references.

Rule 6 - Do not copy content from other sources, including those that discuss Fancade,

Rule 7 - Do not sockpuppet accounts.

Rule 8 - Accounts with offensive, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate usernames may be blocked indefinitely. Users can rename their account to comply with the guidelines.

Rule 9 - Abuse of multiple accounts for block evasion or other circumvention of policy may result in these accounts being indefinitely blocked.

Rule 10 - An editor may have more than one account only if all accounts used by the editor are clearly marked.

Rule 11 - Conversely, each account should only be used by one person. If a group or organization wishes to edit on-wiki, each individual member that will be editing needs to create their own account.

Rule 12 - Using generative AI (for example, ChatGPT) to edit the wiki is not allowed.

Rule 13 - Do not vandalize the people's pages.

Note: If the rules are broken, it will lead to a warning or getting blocked.
