Gold Rush by Ani150 is a game where you must jump between two wall and collect gold along the way, while avoiding spikes.

How to Play

You begin with a robber caricature inside of a grey play area. To your left and right, you have black walls. The top and bottom of the map are covered in spikes. When you start by tapping, spikes will begin to appear on both the left and right hand side of the board. You bounce in one direction, hit the wall (which yields 1 point), and bounce back in the other direction. Your jumps are affected by gravity so the robber jumps in a quadratic curve. The game is terminated when you touch the spike.
Battle Mode
The Battle version is an old version of the game. The spikes are not smooth but rather pixelated. There are no upgrades available, nor any shop system. If you collect coins consecutively between each wall hit, the score generated by the coin will increase by 10, starting at 10 (so for example, the 8th coin in a row will yield a score of 80). The game does not increase in difficulty as you go on, the difficulty of a given stage can range from easy (no spikes) to almost impossible.
Arcade Mode
Arcade mode is similar to Battle Mode, but with a few modifications. The main difference is appearance, a shop system, and that the combo generated from consecutive hits doesn't go up infinitely. In the old version, you gained score through coins, whereas now, you have to collect a green square. When a coin is collected, it will only reappear after you clear the green square, no matter how many times you bounce off of the walls.

Shop System

Coin Chance - Coin Chance increases the probability of coins dropping. At the beginning, it increases the yellow coin (worth 1 coins). Upgrades start at 10 coins and increase by 10 until the final 1st tier upgrade of 100 coins, with the yellolw coin appearing almost every time. After this, the second tier upgrades begin, which increases the probability of the orange coin (worth 10 coins). Upgrades increase by 100 until the final upgrade which costs 1000 coins, where both the yellow and orange coin will spawn almost every time a green square is collected.

Better Combo - Increases the length of the combo possible. The first upgrade will allow a maximum of 2x (20 score), second upgrade a maximum of 3x (30 score), and so on. Upgrades start at 10 coins and increase by 10 until the final upgrade of 100 coins, where the maximum combo is 10x (100 score).

Smaller Spikes - Decreases the size of the spikes, allowing you to land between the spikes more easily. Upgrades begin at 10 coins and double until the final upgrade which costs 5120.

Second Chance - Allows you to restart the game while maintaining the same score. If you use it, you will not have this life again. Upgrades are 10000 coins for each life, and you can purchase as many as you wish.

Strategy

Do not risk your life for a combo, it is very rarely worth the risk (perhaps unless you're playing the first of 3 battles)
The Arcade version is frequently updated so the information here may be rendered invalid.
