Red Shadow by sawdust is a bullet hell style game where you are a rocketship that must shoot its way through various enemies. You collect coins and use those in the shop to upgrade various aspects of your ship. You avoid bullets and enemies by moving either left or right, or up and down.
This is an infinite game where death is caused by an unshielded impact with a hexagon, or direct contact with an enemy, which blows the ship up.
The 3 types of ammunition available are plasma, missiles and lasers. Plasma acts as bullets, missiles are guided towards an enemy, and lasers can hit any enemy within its path.

Enemies

Cube, Gen 1 - First enemy you meet; a green cube surrounded by white tubing. Does not shoot anything, and is basically ready to be shot. Requires 1 plasma to kill it without any upgrades, and it yields 25 score, and 1 coin upon death.

Tank Cannon, Gen 1 - An enemy which locks onto your position, and shoots a hexagon. Requires 2 plasma to kill it without any upgrades, and it yields 50 score, and 2 coins upon death.

Defense Spaceships, Gen 1 - The only mobile enemy, which moves in the opposite direction of your spaceship. They spawn in groups of 5, and do not shoot nor release bullets upon death.

Shuttle Bus, Gen 1 - An enemy which shoots bursts of 3 bullets directly in front of it. Does not release bullets upon death.

Cube, Gen 2 - In contrast to Gen 1, the Gen 2 Cube shoots bullets in a circle around itself. Does not release bullets upon death.

Defense Spaceships, Gen 2 - In contrast to Gen 1, The Gen 2 Defense Spaceships come in groups of 3. They require more bullets to kill, and are larger. They do not shoot, but they release 4 bullets in a semi circle in front of themselves upon death.

Shuttle Bus, Gen 2 - Present after a score of 30000, the Gen 2 Shuttle Bus shoots 2 bursts of 4 bullets, one to the right, and one to the left. It releases a semi circle of bullets in front of it upon death.

Tank Cannon, Gen 2 - Present after around the 35000 score mark, the Gen 2 Tank Cannon does not lock onto the player, but rather it rotates and shoots bullets in, what is effectively a spiral pattern. Releases bullets upon death

Cube, Gen 3 - Appearing after around a score of 175000, the 3rd generation Cube is the same as Gen 2, but fires much more frequently.

Tank Cannon, Gen 3 - Appearing after around a score of 175000, the 3rd generation Tank Cannon is the same as Gen 2, but fires much more frequently.
