## How to Play

Swipe to move that direction. If you swipe to an ore, you get coins depending on the ore and destroy that block, if you swipe to stone, nothing happens. If you swipe through a block not listed in either options, you destroy that block. if you swipe up, you make a ladder. A ladder cannot be destroyed by the machine going through it and can make you float and it can act like a platform. Only tapping will activate dynamite and reduce the dynamite count by 1 for the current run if you have at least 1 left, otherwise nothing happens.
11
Swipe to move in any direction and break any block in your path. You can mine every block in the game except stone which can only be destroyed by explosions. Ores give you coins depending on the ore (1, 2, 3, 5, 10 or 20 coins). If you mine upward, a ladder is also placed beneath you. A ladder can be climbed, stood ontop of and can be passed through without mining it.

You lose if you either fall too far (dependant on spring upgrade), run out of energy (dependant on battery upgrade), or go 17 blocks high on the surface. The score is calculated on how far did you go down max.
13
If you tap once instead of swiping, a 3x3 explosion centered on the player is created. This explosion can destroy any block. You can unlock this ability, or increase the number of explosions avaliable to you through the shop.

The game is lost when you fall too far (dependant on spring upgrade), run out of energy (dependant on battery upgrade), or go 17 blocks high on the surface. The score is the maximum depth you achieved before losing.

## Strategy:
25
In arcade, you should go for coins 1st, then if you have all the upgrades necesarry, go for a record, and since theres no time pressure, think through the situation.

Entrenched is a strategy game; avoiding inescapable walls of stone, measuring your falls, rationing explosive taps and making decisions about what ores to gather are essential to getting a good score. Your ability to make good decisions depends on the number of upgrades you have, which allow you to gather more information about your surroundings.

## Structures:
3
4
#### Clouds
5
Clouds are solid blocks that generate 11 blocks above the grass. They do not give any coins when mined and are mostly decorative, although they can be stood on.
6
7
#### Strata
8
Long pockets of light gray rock/gravel can generate which are mineable. They do not give coins, however they can be useful for travelling horizontally without encountering unmineable stone.
9
10
#### "Purple Thing"
11
Purple structures with gold inside are a great find when mining. None of the blocks in Entrenched are explicitly named. Mining the golden ore within this structure give you 10 coins each.

## Trivia:

#### Ore Density
16
17
Ore density is significantly boosted before your first 50 coins have been collected to help new players. It also increases with your depth up until 150 blocks deep where it remains consistent forevermore.
